President: Kirstin Moran
​ 

Meet Kirstin, your Chapter President! Kirstin is a Senior in High School and she has been a member of FCCLA and a STAR Events competitor for three years. She's attended NLC in San Diego and Denver and currently serves as your Region IV President. After graduation, she plans to attend Arkansas State University to pursue a dental hygienist degree. 

President Responsibilities: 
  • Work with Mrs. Wilson to develop an agenda for each meeting
  • Preside over chapter meetings
  • Keep meetings lively and organized
  • Start meetings on time
  • Represent the chapter in a responsible and professional manner
  • Attend all chapter, Region, and State meetings
  • ​Keep current on local, state, and national updates

first ​Vice-President: Daisy Duke
​ 

Meet Daisy, your First Vice-President! Daisy is a Junior in High School and has been a member of FCCLA and a STAR Events competitor for three years. She's attended NLC in San Diego. After touring a child care center with her Child Growth and Development class, she landed a job at Carousel Learning and Discovery Center and found a passion for taking care of babies. After high school, she plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas and pursue a nursing degree, specializing in Labor and Delivery. 

​First Vice-President Responsibilities: 
  • Assume presidency in president’s absence
  • Assist president as needed
  • Help keep meetings organized
  • Work with other VPs to carry out projects and responsibilities​

​Vice-president of community Service: Taylor Lenderman
​

Meet Taylor, your VP of Community Service! Taylor is a Senior in High School and has been a member of FCCLA for two years. This is her first year competing in STAR Events. Taylor works at Medsker's Pharmacy in Carlisle and is applying for a pharmacy technician license. After graduation, she plans to attend Arkansas State University and enroll in the pre-pharmacy program. 

​Vice-President of Community Service Responsibilities:
  • Organize, supervise, and promote chapter community service projects
  • Coordinate committee chairs for various community service projects
  • Contact other organizations who might assist the organization in achieving our project goals
  • Become familiar with state and national FCCLA Outreach projects​​​​​

​Vice-President of membership: Maggie Brown
​ 

Meet Maggie, your VP of Membership! Maggie is a Junior in High School and  has been an member of FCCLA for three years. She has competed in STAR Events for two years and placed Top 6 in the nation in Chapter in Review while competing at the 2023 National Leadership Conference in Denver. After high school, Maggie plans to attend college and pursue a career in the public relations field.

 Vice-President of Membership Responsibilities:
  • Keep an updated spreadsheet of members including contact information/email addresses
  • Chair membership campaign
  • Recruit new members and distribute membership cards to members
  • Work with chapter adviser to complete chapter affiliation forms prior to deadline
  • Encourage individual members to apply for awards and complete appropriate chapter award applications ​​​

​Vice-president of COMPETITIVE EVENTS: Jena Murray
​ 

Meet Jena, your VP of Competitive Events! Jena is a Sophomore in High School and has been an member of FCCLA and STAR Events competitor for two years. In 2023, she placed Top 6 in the nation in Chapter in Review while competing in Denver at National Leadership Conference. After high school, Jena plans to attend college and major in nursing with plans to become a nurse practitioner.

Vice-President of Competitive Events Responsibilities:
  • Be familiar with STAR Events and National Programs
  • Recruit members to compete in competitive events
  • Keep chapter members informed of updated competitive event information 
  • Assist chapter adviser in completing competitive event forms and submitting by the local, state and national deadlines

​Vice-president of public relations: Brooke Felts
​

Meet Brooke, your VP of Public Relations! Brooke is a Sophomore in High School and has been a member of FCCLA for two years. This is her first year to compete in STAR Events. After high school, Brooke plans to attend college and major in Early Childhood Education. 

​Vice-President of Public Relations Responsibilities:
​​
  • Work with Mrs. Wilson and the Yearbook Advisor to highlight FCCLA in the Yearbook 
  • Gather information for press releases
  • Write press releases and submit them in a timely manner (with advisor's approval)
  • Take photos at events
  • Record information of events
  • Keep FCCLA bulletin board up-to-date
  • Send adviser items to post on social media accounts or include in announcements​ ​

FCCLA is a fun way to use my creativity and gives me an opportunity to volunteer to help others.


​secretary/treasurer: Carly Eads
​ 

Meet Carly, your Secretary/Treasurer! Carly is a Sophomore in High School and has been a member of FCCLA for two years. This is her first year to compete in STAR Events. After high school, Carly plans to attend college and then enroll in medical school to become an anesthesiologist. 

Secretary/Treasurer Responsibilities:
  • Keep attendance records, meeting minutes, and financial records
  • Remind officers of unfinished business
  • Work with VP of Public Relations
  • Write and record correspondence for the chapter
  • Count and record chapter votes​
  • Prepare a treasurer’s report for each business meeting
  • Assist in collecting dues an any other transactions
  • Write receipts for all transactions
  • Chair fundraising efforts and keep records of all events​
